Executive Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to the Avondale Park and St Anne's Federation of Schools website. A federation means that 2 or more schools join together under one governing body and benefit from working closely in partnership. Both our schools have long and proud histories in serving our communities and both schools have enjoyed success in recent years: St Anne’s Nursery School is graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and Avondale Park School is graded ‘Good’.

Our Federation was established in September 2014 with a clear vision of raising aspirations, developing a strong community and securing high levels of achievement in each school. The Federation prides itself on providing a friendly, caring, family environment within which children can flourish. We offer children the best learning environments, the best staff and the best support to enable every child to reach their potential.

We aim that we can work better together in the following ways:

  • Staff work together - improving practice and developing partnerships
  • Children work together - improving learning and building relationships
  • Leadership works together - improving opportunities and outcomes for children
  • Our budgets are brought together - improving resources and best value

Our school websites will give you a good insight into what we are about so please browse...read more

I can’t believe that another term has gone by and we have reached April already. Whilst the temperature outside has plummeted and soared, I can report that the learning in school has remained constantly at a high! I am in such a fortunate position to see what is happening in all classes – from the focus of ‘Once upon a time’ in the nursery to preparing for SATs in Year 6- and I never cease to be inspired. Trips have included Kidzania, Hampton Court and London Zoo; and visitors to school have brought in exotic animals as well as exciting dance and drama. Hard work = tired children so I do hope that you all manage to have a wonderful holiday. Happy Easter to those who are celebrating; and we look forward to seeing you on the first day of term on Tuesday 23rd April. Please note, this is the day after Easter Monday and we do not have an Inset Day.
